Relentless energy, addictive melodies, soaring vocals, and intense drum/bass combo - Lucky Mary Blonde was a power pop trio in the late 1980s whose music quickly climbed Midwest college radio charts after the release of their 1987 album Let the Moonlight Burn. The band's unique live sound, marked by powerful lead vocals, raging drums and driving acoustic bass, lit up stages from Chicago to Memphis. As quickly as the band appeared on the music scene in 1987, they disappeared just as suddenly when they disbanded in autumn 1988.
Lucky Mary Blonde released a new live album in September 2026 - recorded at a live show in Illinois in autumn 1988. It contains 11 songs never previously released, and live songs from Let the Moonlight Burn.
Both albums Let the Moonlight Burn and LIVE! are available on all major streaming platforms, including Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Spotify.
